Meet the New USA-1 and Team!

IMG950999

Left to right: Scott Bryant, Everett Jasmer, Roger Gauger, and Brian Seibert

The new USA-1 team, the owner and driver is Roger Gauger, the future star of USA-1! The new Crew Chief is Scott Bryant, my old friend who brought Roger and I together and this new relationship to me 6 months ago. Brian is an all-around helper on the team, gets the team to events, helped greatly building the truck, and Roger’s right hand man.

I am humbled and blessed that Roger and Scott, their families and team have shown their faith in me and USA-1. I look forward to a winning and long term relationship.

First appearance, ready for first pit party.

I can’t express how proud I am of this piece of workmanship and my new team. Look closely at the driver’s seat, might not be what you expect.

Gettin’ Air!

First night out, still working the bugs out, but looking great! We can’t be more pleased with how the truck looks, and other than a needed upgrade to the steering system, an incredible piece of workmanship.

As far as results from the event, we didn’t score many points due to the steering problems and the fact that this was Roger’s first time in the cockpit with the body on. The truck is built with top quality parts and is very capable of winning. Next week in Jackson, MS the bugs should be worked out- watch out Larry Swim and Bigfoot!!

We will be updating the schedule for the coming season as well as posting as the events happen.

Air National Guard 10th Annual 133rd Airlift Wing Family Day

What a rewarding way to spend a beautiful September day thanking our Military and their families.

What a rewarding way to spend a beautiful September day thanking our Military and their families.

It isn't every day that I get to train one of our military; thanks to Tom Heckman for helping change tires, as well as many others that helped set up and tear down. I seem to remember a group taking turns on each tire, I think they were drawing straws.

Master Sergeant Jim Smith, who contacted me about doing the event, gave me a tour of this C-130, as well as other parts of the base.

It ain't no C-130, but Jim seems to be enjoying this seat as well.
