It’s hard to believe that this was our sixth show and once again God blessed us with a beautiful day! It seems like just yesterday (five and a half years ago) the members of this club came to me and asked if I would help them do their first car show. In addition, I have been blessed with many new friends because of this relationship. I also met a young man at the first show who would become my webmaster, and still is.

I look forward to doing this again next year!

Rod Litzau will be at the Christ’s Cross Car Show in Ham Lake, MN Saturday, August 27th!
He will be there all day for meet and greets and signing autographs. If you haven’t met Rod before this would be a great opportunity to do so!

I had a very special visit on Saturday, April 9th. Kris Wehnert and his fiance Emily visited for the second time. Their first visit was just before he was deployed to Iraq in February of 2010. This deployment also took him to Kuwait and Afghanistan. He brought me some special gifts from the war zones.
He presented me with a flag that had been hung on the ceiling of their MRAP armored vehicle in Iraq. He then carried it with him through the rest of his deployment in Kuwait and Afganistan. The cap was a spare that he had through the whole deployment and never used, he presented it to me with a USA-1 hat pin that he bought online.

Once again we were blessed with one more nice weekend late in October in Minnesota. We were, along with BOB 106 Radio, able to help with this fundraising event for a young husband and father with brain cancer.
